Already with a bank or Dojo? Here's the honest comparison.

Most Irish SMEs are on a bank-branded acquirer or a 12-month fintech contract, plus a separate POS and loyalty vendor. We've laid the published facts side by side. Where a provider doesn't publish a number, we say so rather than guess.

What changes, provider by provider

From BOI Payment Acceptance

BOIPA (an EVO/Global Payments joint venture with Bank of Ireland) typically bundles a multi-year terminal lease. On AonTap your settlement still lands in your BOI account next business day; the POS comes with the terminal.

From AIB Merchant Services

AIBMS (with Fiserv) runs Clover terminals. AonTap's Android terminals run the POS, loyalty and receipts, with no multi-year term. Settlement to your AIB account is unchanged.

From Elavon

Elavon contracts in Ireland are commonly 24–36 months. We move you to 30-day rolling. Your Elavon terminal goes back; your menu and products come across in the onboarding call.

From Dojo

Dojo is a good modern product. The differences are the 12-month minimum on lower volumes, offline payments, and the software: Dojo integrates with POS vendors; AonTap includes the POS, loyalty and receipts in the plan.
